The HR Executive for Learning, Development, and Wellbeing is responsible for identifying, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating programs and initiatives that support the growth, skill enhancement, and overall wellbeing of employees within the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs through analysis of employee performance and feedback from managers.
  • Develop and implement training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee competencies.
  • Coordinate with external training providers and manage training logistics.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources for continuous learning and development.
  • Keep abreast with and make use of local and international funding opportunities for training and development of employees to ensure cost saving for the Company

 

Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with managers to ensure that performance evaluations are conducted annually.
  • Hold random, sporadic post review meetings with employees for feedback and evaluation of performance review experience to ensure performance management processes are fair, transparent, and consistent across the organization.
  • Maintain data collated from performance reviews on HRIS, review data and follow up on targets/deadlines agreed upon where applicable.
  • Support managers in identifying opportunities for employee growth and development and in developing and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.

 

Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Organize and coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
  • Gather feedback through surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee concerns and improve the overall employee experience.

 

Wellbeing Programs:

  • Design and implement wellbeing initiatives to promote physical, mental, and emotional health among employees.
  • Develop policies and programs that support work-life balance and employee wellbeing.
  • Provide resources and support for stress management, resilience, and mental health awareness.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of wellbeing programs and make adjustments as needed based on feedback and outcomes.

 

Additional Duties:

  • Handle day-to-day issues and provide practical solutions based on departmental and organisational goals and policies.
  • Respond to queries and concerns and provide support to colleagues and to team members requiring HR support, including relevant local legislation, company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement in relation to areas of responsibility.
  • Stand in for the HR Executive responsible for work permit applications and renewals where required.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as necessary.
  • Promote and maintain awareness of health and safety.

Required Skills

Being a multidiscipline role the candidate should show strengths in many skills some of which are as follows:

Strong understanding of training and development principles and methodologies.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to employee development and wellbeing.

Ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Meticulous attention to detail, commitment to ensuring high-quality project deliverables.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams towards common goals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

Basic understanding of budgeting principles and financial management practices.

Education + Experience

Preferably a tertiary level of education in HR, Psychology or relevant discipline OR Diploma in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, or related field and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
