Our client is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their growing and dynamic team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing of management accounts for the Firm on a quarterly basis as well as preparing of financial statements, including consolidated figures;
- Managing the day-to-day transactions such as postings, reconciliations, receivables and payables as well as bank payments and deposits;
- Compiling of various financial reports for internal and external use;
- Preparation and submission of regulatory returns;
- Liaising and assisting external auditors during the audit process;
- Assisting in specific assignments and projects as assigned by management;
- Supporting and guiding other team members within the Finance department;
- Any other duties which may be required from time to time.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years Accounting experience
A minimum 5 years working experience in a similar role locally, ideally within the corporate services industry;
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel and SAGE;
Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Maltese;
Team player with strong leadership skills;
Meticulous with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Education + Experience
Fully qualified and warranted in accounts locally. Candidates in their final stages of ACCA will also be considered
